Twenty-four hours from brief to finished designs sounds too fast. I hear that a lot. So here's exactly how it works, step by step — no magic, just a tight process with no wasted time.

Quick introduction: I'm Anuj Chopra, an interior designer in Hamilton, NJ. 3 Visions is my online room-design service. You tell me about your room, and within 24 hours you get three photorealistic designs of it. Here's what happens in between.

Step 1: You send the brief (about 15 minutes of your time)

Everything starts on the brief form at visions.chopraspacedesign.com. You'll send:

The 24-hour clock starts when your brief is complete, because I can't design a room I can't see properly. If something's missing, I'll ask — and the clock starts once it's all in. One note: if you need to change the brief after sending it, you've got 15 minutes. After that I'm already working, and changes mean starting over.

Step 2: Three designs, rendered on your actual room

This is the part that matters most, so let me be specific about what you get — and what you don't.

You do not get mood boards. No collages of stock photos, no "here's the vibe" pages. Every online design service seems to hand those out, and they leave you doing the hardest part yourself: imagining how it all looks in your room.

What you get is three photorealistic renders built on your room's actual architecture — your windows, your walls, your proportions, your light. Three genuinely different directions (call them Refresh, Remodel, and Dream if you like — a light touch-up, a real transformation, and the no-limits version). Same room, three futures. You compare them side by side and pick the one that feels right, or mix pieces across all three.

Step 3: Every design is budget-anchored

Pretty pictures are useless if you can't afford what's in them. So while I design, I'm also researching: real products, real prices, checked against what's actually available, with labor figured at real rates for your ZIP code — not generic numbers.

Each vision comes with an honest budget range for pulling it off. If your budget for the room is $3,000, you won't see a $9,000 vision. The designs respect the number you gave me in the brief. That's the point of telling me your budget upfront — it's not a formality, it shapes every choice in the renders.

Step 4: PDF delivery within 24 hours

You get one PDF. Before-and-after views of your room, all three designs, the budget breakdown for each, and the shopping direction. It's yours to keep — shop from it this weekend, hand it to your painter, sit on it for three months. No expiry, no upsell required to unlock the "real" version.

And the guarantee is simple: if I miss the 24-hour deadline, you get a full refund. Not a credit, not a discount on your next room — your money back.

What you get, plainly

What you don't get

I'll be straight about this too, because the wrong customer is worse than no customer. This is a design product, not full service. I don't order your furniture, I don't call your contractor, and I'm not coming to your house. If you're tearing down walls, moving plumbing, or need someone on-site managing trades, you need a full-service designer — and I'd rather tell you that now than disappoint you later.

What this is for: the room you've been meaning to fix for a year. The bedroom with the hand-me-down furniture. The living room that never came together. The rental refresh. You get a professional's eye and three finished visions for less than the cost of one wrong furniture purchase.

The price, without games

$49 per room. No discounts, ever. No launch pricing, no coupon codes, no "this weekend only." Everyone pays the same $49, and the work is the same every time. I'd rather be boring about pricing than clever about it.
